Outlook

Let's do an exercise.
Suppose you come to know with certainty that you have only 5 more years to live. How does it change your outlook towards life? Will you start doing things you have not been able to do so far in your life? Do you drop certain things? Do you alter the way you have been doing certain other things? How does it change you, your mindset, your (remaining) life, your relationships?
THINK!

Suppose that period is not 5 years but 5 months? Do your answers change?

What happens if the period is not 5 months but 5 days or 5 hours or just 5 minutes?

Worth pondering about.

Does this exercise change your perspective towards life however long it may be?

It did for me.

  1. Coming face to face with death does indeed change one's perspective on everything. Renewed faith in the Almighty, trust in the knowledge that He is with you all the time, gives one the serenity and courage to smile and carry on.
